ASAP has begun its venue search in the Washington, D.C. area for the 19th Annual National Training Conference (NTC). Our goal is to have a venue contract finalized by the end of 2026, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
WHERE
Based on your feedback, ASAP is focusing its search on hotels and meeting venues in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area with convenient Metrorail access.
WHEN
Mid- to Late July 2027
The NTC is being planned as a three-day event, with educational sessions generally scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Dates and times are subject to change.
BUDGET PLANNING INFORMATION
To assist you and your agency/organization with preliminary 2027 training and travel budgets, please use the following estimates:
Program Registration/Tuition/Quote
For budgeting purposes, PENCIL IN $1,500 per person. ASAP members will receive a $100 discount. Final registration fees will be confirmed once the venue contract is in place.
Sleeping Rooms
ASAP anticipates securing a block of sleeping rooms. The 2027 federal per diem lodging rate for the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area is $192 per night, single or double occupancy, plus applicable state and local taxes.
Meals & Incidental Expenses
The federal per diem for meals and incidental expenses is $92 per day, currently allocated as follows:
